perspex (aka plexiglass) is very prone to scratching although it is less expensive than safety (laminated) glass.

Always prefered laminated glass for cab windows myself.

Depends on truck type & if its being used indoors or outdoors, if its an indoor truck then polycarbonate should be alright.

If its a counter balance then I would go laminated glass everytime.

polycarbonate screens are far safer than perspex. less chance of shattering and can be drilled to hold a wiper.i used to fit Lexan Margard which had a anti-scratch coating.don,t know if there is any legalities as long as you have a working wiper fitted it should be ok..

Fact of the week
The origin of "love" as the score zero in tennis is debated, but two main theories prevail. One suggests it's derived from the French word "l'oeuf" (egg) which resembles the shape of the number zero. The other proposes it's related to the Dutch word "lof" meaning "honour" as players might be playing for honour when scoreless.
