Burning smell coming from the drive motor

I came this morning and the operator said after driving for an hour he smelled burning coming from the inside, could this be a bad motor.

Ain't nothing I can't fix but a broken heart and the break of day!
When I first started working field service a new tech was cleaning the brake assy on a mod 152 order picker with Raymond brake clean during a PM. Put the covers back on and sent it back out. The operator returned promptly with the OP trailing smoke. The previous formula for Raymond's brake clean was highly flammable. Needless to say it was a new motor for that OP!

Found out "somebody" spilled brake fluid on the motor way to go second shift... Smell went away after a while still scared the operator a little bit.

The word "robotics" was coined by Russian-born American science-fiction writer Isaac Asimov who first used the word in 1942 in his short story 'Runabout'. He characterised robots as helpful servants and as "a better, cleaner race."
