Have just heard that Briggs UK are laying off 60 engineers by X Mas. And Hyster may be laying off in the UK as well engineers and sales staff. Any one heard this or are they just rumours.

You say compete with the big boys, but I think you will find that it is the so called big boys that are in the S**t!! Big turnover does not always mean big profit as most of the UK big boys show!

Brigg are on the way out.
they cannot compete with the big boys as they are
not big in the vna side of the business
and the yard at cannot is bursting at the seams.
ps if you want a truck that has done 20.000 hours and 1 owner briggs is the place
