Discussion:
Brake won't release

I have a few easi 40tt's. They were outside when a sudden rain happened. Got them covered quickly thereafter but it has caused me a number of problems. Number 1 wont release the brake, everything else works and when you press forward it tries to move.
Number 2 drives and raises and lowers but no tilt or reach function. I am not familiar with forklifts but do understand electronics. Help please!!!

easi reach series usually has a hydraulic brake but later models have an electric brake, we need to know what you have. verify visually or provide full model and serial.

no tilt/reach/ss is typically a open or shorted mast cable. there is a line filter on some located to the left of the control handle under the top cover. see here : bullseyeindustrialsales dot com/raymond-154-012-356-001-line-filter-41933

the tower beside the cap has a glass fuse in it held in with that gray twist lock cover.

same deal for this truck. for more info model and serial number is needed. there are many different configurations but all have a mast cable.

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
