Boom Lift 2 Speed Issues

I have a 2001 660SJC track boom lift that is having two speed issues. It is the machine that has a steel tracked excavator undercarriage instead of wheels. Runs great in lower speed but doesnt want to go into 2 speed. It will sometimes surge like it goes into 2 speed for a second and then kicks out for a second and back and forth. If I unplug the level sensor it will go into two speed but then it thinks its off level so the boom operates very slow. We tried a new level sensor as it had been leaking but that didn't make any difference. We also checked the position sensors on the boom but they all seem good. Trying to to figure out were the issue is. It seems like it must be a poor connection somewere. TIA

If u haven't yet go on Jlg.com and download the service manual...buy an analyzer to help with troubleshooting...then verify u have power and ground to high speed coil...if so..download parts manual and try to find another valve that has same part #...swap valves and see if it then works...is so order new valve..if not...u missed something..could be in joystick or box but analyzer will verify that

Fact of the week
In 1923, French tennis player René Lacoste was promised a crocodile leather suitcase by his captain if he won his next match. He lost the match but won the nickname "the crocodile" which he had sown onto his tennis attire. Ten years later he launched the first polo shirt and Lacoste, the first brand to feature a logo on its clothing.
