Discussion:
Anyone heard of AISIN Transmissions

Noticed the 8 series forktrucks for Toyota have a new style transmission, anyone have feedback on AISIN's quality and performance in these trucks?

tcmgirl,

You are right that TCM makes their own transmission but that was before now they no longer manufacture their own transmissiom, and they have also changed their engine.

John j,
you are correct by saying TCM has used Aisin transmissions, but they no longer use them. TCM makes their own transmissions.

Aisin transmissions have also been used in Komatsu, Kalmar AC and TCM forklifts.

Aisin transmissions have always been used in the Toyota trucks not just the 8 series. Aisin is owned by Toyota.
