2015 GENIE GS1930 ERROR CODE C021

I have a 2015 GENIE GS1930 ERROR CODE " C021 : PCON NOT DETECTED". Repair Manual Possible Cause: 1) PCON Disconnected.
2) CAN Communication Failure. 3) GCOPN or PCON ECM. When I go up with the Lift about 10-ft., Lift Stops and give Error Code C021. I press the "Stop" button to reset and try to go up. Lift stop at about 2-ft and give the Error Code C021. I reset it and does the same thing at another 2-ft. I switch to "Ground Control" and does the same thing.

I switched "Platform Control" with a working "2-Button Gen 6 Platform Control" and same thing. I switched the "Ground Control" and gave a different code from the start, "C051: SYSTEM FAULT TILT: NoCal".

I want to call Genie Support, but there's NONE. I tried to find any Genie Scissorlift Forum, but there's none. Only Forklift Action. Can someone help me?

What's a canbus failure and how did you change the pressure sensor? I need help, my ground control box says that the PCON is not detected and I already check all the harness and make sure that every cable had continuity, I even bypass the harness and connected the platform control with the ground control and it still say that it is not detected while there is no broken cables

I have by-passed the wiring harness which goes to the platform control and connected direct to the Ground Control. And still does the same. Tech who worked on Genie know what I'm talking about.

I have reviewed the schematics. If there were the Over-load Pressure Sensor or the Lift Height Sensor. That would make sense of the problem. But, there's NONE to be found on the scissorlift. Next, I would figure the Tilt Sensor needs Calibrating. What do you all think??

I think you have a broken wire in the harness from the platform control to the ground controls. Ohm them all out.

I have review the Genie GS-1930 Repair Manual. Review the Hydraulic and Electrical Schematics. I can see the one of these might be the problem: 1) S14-Platform Height Sensor. 2) PT15-Platform Overload Sensor (Pressure Transducer). Only problem, inspected the lift, Non of the Sensor Exist (There's None). I looked at my older GS-1930, there''s no such thing.

PCON stands for platform control. Code 21 is lost communication from platform controller to chassis controller. This is a lost CANbus signal.

On the Hydraulic Manifold. There's no Pressure Sensor, only Pressure Relief Valve & Solenoids. Can you give me a Genie Part Number so I can locate the part you mention.

I had a similar problem with a canbus failure alarm. Fixed changing the pressure sensor.

Technically, I can't see how a pressure sensor is connected to the ECM or any of the Controllers to give the Code C021.

Try to temporarily eliminate the pressure sensor mounted near the oil filter. The problem should be solved
good job
