ITA Spring Meeting

United States, Washington, DC - 19th to 21st March 2007
The Spring Meeting will closely follow last year's schedule, allowing the Suppliers Committee to kick-off the meeting. That meeting will be immediately followed by various subcommittee meetings. Regular member GEC representatives are encouraged to attend the Suppliers Committee meeting as well as the subcommittee meetings. None of the subcommittee meetings now conflicts with the General Engineering Committee meeting. This will allow all Associate Members to attend the GEC meeting. We have also set a special reception for Monday evening to honor our Associate Members. This event has been well received in the past because it provides Associates with the first of two opportunities to entertain Regular Member board and engineering representatives. A complete list of attendees will be distributed to all registrants just prior to the meeting.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
