The Industrial Truck Association represents the manufacturers of lift trucks and their suppliers who do business in Canada, the United States or Mexico. ITA holds numerous meetings over the course of a year-these meetings, dealing with a variety of topics, are open to companies that meet the requirements for potential membership.

In 1898, author Morgan Robertson wrote a novel called 'Futility', which described an "unsinkable" ship named the Titan that sank after hitting an iceberg. Fourteen years later, the Titanic sank in a strikingly similar fashion.
