Yusen Logistics opens new facility in Sydney

Yusen Logistics Australia will open a new warehouse facility in Sydney this month, its sixth in the city.

Situated in Western Sydney, the new $2 million warehouse, which is dedicated to a major US retailer, consists of 12,500 sqm and will comprise 18,500 pallet locations. Operations will commence immediately.

Managing director Ian Pemberton says the new facility will employ an additional 25 staff.

Yusen Logistics Australia provides supply chain and transport solutions with 12 offices throughout Australia. It is part of Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (the NYK Group), one of the world's leading transportation companies.
