JLT has released an upgraded rugged forklift computer

Swedish-based manufacturer JLT Mobile Computers has launched an upgraded model of its JLT1214 Series rugged forklift computers which it says have faster processors, larger memory, improved connectivity and more efficient data handling.

The forklift computer series comes equipped with an Intel Atom X6413E processor, 12-inch LED display, standard 8GB DDR4 memory (expandable to 32GB), Wi-Fi 6E technology and Windows 11 support.

JLT says the JLT1214 is fully integrated eliminating the need for external adapters and cradles with a heated display able to prevent frost formation at low temperatures. The unit has been designed to operate in temperatures from -30°C to 55°C.

The dimensions of the rugged forklift computers are 305mm (w) by 240mm (h) and weigh just 3.5kg.

JLT Mobile Computers chief executive officer Per Holmberg says the upgraded models are a response to customer and market demand and have been “optimised for the challenging environment in the warehousing logistics industry”.
