Trelleborg Wheel Systems launches a press and web campaign to promote the rebranding of its high performing resilient tires Elite XP and Premia. The new look tires will feature the Trelleborg brand name and logo on the sidewall.

The Watts Premia has been manufactured by Trelleborg since the completion of the Watts Tyre Group acquisition on February 4, 2011. The Elite XP was previously branded under the Bergougnan tire line. Trelleborg acquired Bergougnan in January of 1988 and continued to brand tires with the Bergougnan name through 2011. The brand change reflects the Trelleborg brand that is synonymous with advanced tire technology and innovation alongside world class design and manufacturing.

"Trelleborg believes rebranding the Elite XP and Premia tires is an important step in light of our branding strategy which will enhance the value and recognition of our offering," says Marketing Director of the Trelleborg Wheel Systems, Industrial Tires business unit, Andrea Tomaselli, "The rebranding

will make it easier for our customers to identify the tires as a premium Trelleborg product, continuing to bring value to our partners and customers".

The communication campaign focused on the Trelleborg Elite XP and Trelleborg Premia tires began in March with advertisements in leading industrial products and solutions media throughout Europe and the United States and can be seen on the Trelleborg Wheel Systems website.

Elite XP solid tires are OEM approved and offered in popular compounds such as non-marking and high load. Both the Elite XP and Premia solid tires are available in the core sizes that material handling equipment requires. These tires are primarily used in applications that require minimum downtime such as manufacturing and distribution.
