Toyota Material Handling Europe has introduced a new range of electric counterbalanced forklifts, which are suitable for applications such as loading, unloading, stacking, and horizontal transport.

According to Toyota, the Traigo48 range includes 3 and 4-wheel models of various sizes. Suitable for both internal and external applications, the forklifts feature load capacities from 1.5 to 2.0 tonnes, lift heights up to 7.5 m, and a maximum speed of up to 20 km/h.

The range is available with flexible battery options to fit various operational requirements. Customers can choose between conventional lead-acid (LAB) batteries and lithium-ion (LIB) batteries.

“The new Traigo48 range is designed to make a real difference in the market," says Jose Maria Gener, vice president sales & marketing at Toyota Material Handling Europe.

“We’re delivering a truly unique driving experience, integrating cutting-edge design, exceptional comfort, energy efficiency, and enhanced productivity.”

In addition to the Traigo48 range, the company has also launched the Traigo_i model. Intended for operations that place a high value on ergonomics and fast charging, the forklifts in this range feature a space-saving configuration and extra legroom for operators.

With lithium-ion batteries as standard, models in the Traigo_i range feature a charging port, which is integrated into the counterweight. This is intended to facilitate faster and more efficient opportunity charging.
