 Last year's SCM winners |
Finalists for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Award 2016 at the EXCHAiNGE conference in Frankfurt next month have been announced.
The companies in the running for the coveted SCM prize are ARLANXEO, Henkel Adhesives Technologies, PERI and RECARO.
The criteria for choosing the four finalists were strategy, process sophistication, organisation, performance management, and collaboration. But the jury also took into account the dimensions of change management and proven results as well as a range of modern supply chain attributes.
The four finalists will present their ideas to the jury and an audience of industry professionals on October 6 at the EXCHAiNGE conference in Frankfurt themed Supply Chain Best Practices - Details behind the scenes. All experts in the audience can vote live during the presentations.
"The quality of the supply chain solutions realised by the finalists is again on a very high level this year," remarks Harald Geimer, a partner at PwC Management Consulting and expert in the field of supply chain management. "Furthermore, it can be noticed that in all cases, supply chain skills are seen as a critical factor for the success of the business."
All conference attendees will be asked to vote after the finalists' presentations. The results will be taken into account right away when the jury - comprising experts from the industry, science, consulting and trade magazines - convenes after the presentations.
This will be followed by an evening awards ceremony on October 6 in Frankfurt's House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM).
