Sun Tyre & Wheel Systems (SUN-TWS) prides itself on being at the forefront of design and innovation in the industrial tyre arena. As a result, the company is proud to launch two of its newest designs - the Traffic Light Tyre and Talon Prime Aer, which will also be presented at the international forklift exhibition, IMHX, which is due to take place this month from the 24th to the 27th September in the UK at the NEC-Birmingham (Stand No:18N50). SUN-TWS will be exhibiting with its exclusive UK partner, Industrial Tyre Network (ITN.)

Traffic Light Tyre - Helping you make the right decision at the right time!
Knowing the right time to replace an industrial solid tyre is one of the most important questions in the materials handling industry. At times, a tyre is removed and replaced when the lugs have worn down to the point where the tyre looks "bald". However, that tyre can still have up to 30% of useful life left until reaching the 60J line. In other cases, waiting too long to replace the tyre can place the machine and operator at risk, with costly consequences. To take the guesswork out of this, SUN-TWS has developed an innovative solution for its premium range of "Numa" and "Talon" solid tyres - the "Traffic Light Tyre". The 60J line is colored with a red compound ("Traffic Light Rib") that is always visible on the outside of the tyre. It enables you to clearly see the position of the Traffic Light Rib, compared to the remaining tread, so you can plan your replacement tyre maintenance accordingly. This helps maximize tyre life, increase cost of ownership and reduce tyre waste.

Talon Prime AeR - Reduced downtime, additional comfort and improved efficiency.
When you come across an application or an operating terrain that proves too challenging for your automatic choice of solid tyre, SUN-TWS invite you to try the Talon Prime AeR. The product has been designed as a 3-stage premium tyre, with apertures to ensure superior resilience and comfort in the most severe operations. Available in black and non-marking versions, the Talon Prime AeR, as the play on word suggests, will handle the most difficult of applications with supreme ease. It has a soft center compound designed for exceptional heat buildup resistance, and a hard wearing tread stock to optimize tyre life.

A further product release is being kept confidential for exhibition at the show. Commenting on the launch, a spokesperson from SUN-TWS's EDC team (Engineering Design Centre) commented: "Over recent years there have been relatively few breakthrough innovations in the solid tyre industry, so Sun-Tws, in co-operation with ITN, are excited to bring this new solid tyre to market, coinciding appropriately with the prestigious IMHX show."

SUN-TWS's key to success is its unique business model, a passion for reliability, unrivalled customer service and an enduring loyalty to its clients; making SUN-TWS the preferred partner for forklift and tyre distributors around the globe.
