Semax expands dealer network in Europe

Sweden’s Semax has appointed three new dealers in Europe as part of its expansion drive on the continent.

Profiservice GmbH has been appointed as the authorised Semax dealer for the Italian Südtirol and Trentino regions; Kirchner Gabelstapler GmbH will represent the brand in Thuringia and parts of Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt in Germany; and Trucktech AS has been appointed for Norway.

“We are delighted to have appointed these three companies as authorised Semax dealers,” says Tobias Ingemarsson, CEO at Semax. “They will each play an important role in our further expansion in Europe with their local market presence, strong focus on customer service and high levels of technical skills.”

Semax produces forklifts with the mast placed behind the cabin, particularly suited to the paper and steel industries. 

Ingemarsson is optimistic about the uptake of electric models. “We delivered our first forklift with electric drive already in 1999 and it is exciting to follow how electrification is growing ever stronger in the industry, even for large forklifts,” he says.
