Since 2019, when the Swedish INEV Group took over Semax, work has been focused on strengthening the organization and optimizing the products to enable further expansion in Scandinavia and Europe.
"Traditionally, we have always been strong in the paper and steel industry in Scandinavia," says Tobias Ingemarsson, CEO at Semax. "The new owner group, with their great commitment and financial strength, enable our continued expansion in Europe."

Semax produces forklifts with an innovative construction: With the mast placed behind the cabin, the driver has optimum visibility from the cabin, thus creating a safer working environment for personnel and goods. The optimum visibility, combined with the built-in extension (up to 900 mm) enables flexible, efficient and safe handling of goods, not least important when it comes to avoiding damage to sensitive goods. Complemented by a special fork carriage, it’s also possible to tilt a paper reel 90 degrees forward.
The Semax programme ranges from 6-25 tons, all models are available with either electric or diesel drive. "We delivered our first forklift with electric drive already in 1999," Ingemarsson says, "and it is exciting to follow how electrification is growing ever stronger in the industry, even for large forklifts."
During October and November Semax has signed dealership agreements with three new dealers in Europe:
"We are now seeing the results of our efforts to reach out to the market, through fairs, digital marketing and meeting with potential dealers and end customers," says Ingemarsson.
- Profiservice GmbH has been appointed as authorised Semax dealer for the Italian regions Südtirol und Trentino.
- Kirchner Gabelstapler GmbH has been appointed as authorised Semax dealer for the German states Thuringia and parts of Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.
- Trucktech AS has been appointed as authorised Semax dealer for Norway.

"We are delighted to have appointed these three companies as authorized Semax dealers," says Tobias Ingemarsson, CEO at Semax. "They will each play an important role in our further expansion in Europe with their local market presence, strong focus on customer service and high levels of technical skills."
