French telehandler and aerial work platform manufacturer Haulotte has named RTS, also known as Rent Trade and Service Co, as its official distributor in Thailand.

RTS, majority owned by Japanese entities, has six branches in Thailand which rent cars, industrial machinery and equipment, as well as install aerial platforms, forklifts and lifting equipment.

"Thailand’s marketplace for access work platforms rental is competitive and expected to continuously intensify,” says RTS president Shigeyuki Tamura.

Thailand’s equipment rental market is expanding as the country’s construction sector recovers.

The collaboration will give Thai customers access to Haulotte's range of electric and diesel-powered scissor lifts and articulating and telescopic booms.
