Robotize, which makes autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for internal pallet transportation, has created a platform AMR, the GoPal P35.
Measuring 960 x 660 mm, the GoPal P35 is the smallest GoPal AMR model. It can carry up to 250 kg (550 lbs) and can be deployed alongside existing GoPal AMRs on the Robotize GoControl Fleet Management System.
The AMR has mechanical and electrical interfaces to accommodate a wide range of top modules, equipment and accessories from different mobile robotic equipment vendors.
“Our customers asked us to develop a platform AMR to complement their fleet of GoPal pallet AMRs,” says Robotize chief executive officer and co-founder Anders Pjetursson.
“The main requirement was that it had to have the same high level of uptime and operational reliability as our global fleet of AMRs.
“I’m proud to say that the GoPal P35 is the result of our deep domain knowledge of having our global fleet of AMRs covering a distance of more than 800, 000 kms in challenging production environments.”
The GoPal P35 will be unveiled at Logimat in Germany next March.
