A 72-year-old retired forklift operator was among 210 finalists who had a chance to win USD10 million from Publishers' Clearing House.

But Publishers' Clearing House's (PCH) website today announced that Benjamin Caudill, of Xenia, Ohio, was not the USD10 million man. N Green of Sparta, Tennessee, won the large sweepstakes prize.

Caudill had entered the sweepstakes twice a year for the past 30 years. According to Dayton Daily News, Caudill learned he was a finalist when a UPS driver delivered a letter while he was watching television last Friday.

He was reported saying he would replace his wife's wedding ring with a "nicer" one on their 50th wedding anniversary in August, if he won.

PCH is a New York-headquartered direct-marketing company that offers discount magazine subscriptions and household merchandise, giving customers a chance to win its ongoing sweepstakes.

According to PCH, there was a one in 505,000,000 chance of winning the USD10 million sweepstakes.
