Heli holds global distributor conference

Chinese equipment manufacturer Heli held its global distributor conference in Hefei recently, bringing together almost 500 of its dealers from more than 100 countries and regions.

General manager of Anhui Forklift Group, Yang Anguo, told those attending Heli has maintained its position as China's top industrial vehicle company for 34 consecutive years with operating revenue for this year expected to exceed CYN20 billion (USD2.8 billion).

Anguo adds Heli now has a distributor network in more than 180 countries, and has the highest market share in 34 of those overseas markets.

The event included a 30,000sqm exhibition showcasing Heli’s complete product portfolio, including its 70T heavy-duty forklift.

Heli has revealed a 19% year-on-year (y-o-y) increase the number of units sold between January and September to 300,000 units, with operating revenue up 11% y-o-y to 15.1 billion (USD2.1 billion).

It also reports overseas revenue for the January to September period was CNY6.6 billion (USD928 million), an 11% y-o-y increase, while total profit for the period was reported as exceeding CNY1.6 billion (USD225 million).
