Juha Pankakoski, executive vice president of port solutions at Konecranes, is leaving the company.

In a statement to Nasdaq Helsinki, Konecranes said Pankakoski will leave in November at the latest to take up a position in another company.

“I would like to thank Juha for his valuable contribution to Konecranes over the past 20 years,” says Konecranes chief executive officer Anders Svensson.

“He has had a significant role in developing our technology and digital capabilities and shifting Konecranes’ focus beyond lifting into the broader material handling. I wish Juha all the best in the next phase in his career.”

Konecranes will immediately start the process to find a successor for Pankakoski.

Körber has appointed Edward Auriemma the new chief executive of its supply chain software business, a joint venture with KKR.

Before joining Körber, Auriemma served as the chief operating officer of Blue Yonder, a supply chain software company with more than 6,000 employees, where he was instrumental in steering the company's strategic direction, transforming its go-to-market and scaling its operations globally.

He previously held the position of chief operations officer at Alight Solutions, where he developed a robust operational and commercial framework that propelled the company through a successful public listing on the New York Stock Exchange and strengthened its market position as a leading provider of integrated digital human capital and business solutions.

“We are delighted to welcome Edward Auriemma to Körber and look forward to working with him to further accelerate the growth and innovation of our supply chain software business,” says Stephan Seifert, chief executive officer of the Körber Group and member of the advisory board.

“With his deep understanding of the market and customer needs, he will push forward to support our ambition to build a global supply chain software champion, benefiting our customers and our global team.”
