Bryan Perkins

Tompkins Solutions has named Bryan Perkins as senior vice president of engineering.

In his new role, Perkins will be responsible for all engineering functions, including consulting engagements, controls and hardware implementations, as well as  field customer service.

Perkins has nearly two decades of experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing and engineering and is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, lean champion and lean practitioner.

Prior to joining Tompkins, Perkins served as senior vice president of operations for DeliverOL, where he led a network of delivery stations for DHL, and also held senior management positions with ADVATIX, Walmart and Amazon.

“Bryan’s widespread expertise across supply chain operations and strong background in engineering and business methodologies make him a great addition to the Tompkins team,” says Tompkins Solutions chief executive officer David Latona.

Stefan Budweit

Clark Europe has promoted sales and marketing director Stefan Budweit to chief operating officer.

Budweit joined Clark Europe in 2012 as business development manager.

He can look back on more than 30 years of national and international experience in the field of material handling, including roles at Toyota and Jungheinrich.

Thomas Bach has also joined Clark Europe’s management team as director of research and development and purchasing.

Bach started his career at Clark Europe as a development engineer in 2015 after completing a master's degree in mechanical engineering.

Here he demonstrated his skills in the design and development of forklifts and warehouse technology. In 2020, he took over as team leader of the design and development department.

He also manages the collaboration with international suppliers and develops the product strategy and planning in coordination with Clark's global plants in the U.S., Korea, Vietnam and China.

"With the new strategic positioning of our management team, we have optimally equipped ourselves for the future so that we can meet future challenges and the increasing demands of our customers even better," explains Rolf Eiten, Clark Europe president and chief executive officer.

Julian Burnett

Supply chain consulting and warehouse solutions provider Visku has announced several key leadership appointments, including Julian Burnett as chief executive officer.

Visku says Burnett is a transformational leader within both retail and technology, delivering digital transformation and orchestrating technology-enabled business change.

He has held executive leadership roles with IBM, House of Fraser, John Lewis Partnership and Sainsbury’s, following a successful consulting career at CapGemini and CSC focusing on retail, distribution and logistics industries.

Andrew Jackson-Proes joins Visku as chief customer officer. 

Jackson-Proes is an expert in growth strategies and digital platforms, with a track record in solution innovation and market creation at Stuart (formerly part of Geopost/DPD Group), Mercer, The Access Group, Microsoft, IBM and Dell Corporation, amongst other scale-up growth businesses. 

Stephen Ashton has also been appointed chief operating officer.

Ashton is a renowned industry expert leading national logistics operations for FTSE retailers and manufacturers including Marks & Spencer, Dunnes Stores, BOC/Linde, Unipart and Flowtech, where he was operations development director.

Andy Kaye remains involved as founder director, managing key customer and partner relationships and supporting market expansion. 

Visku chairman Adrian Fawcett says: “The new configuration of Visku’s board represents a significant upweighting. We are excited to see Visku build from its solid foundations to now be launching an exciting supply chain marketplace for the future.”

Chris Pera

New England-based Mazzotta Rentals has appointed Chris Pera as chief operating officer.

Pera’s most recent role was at Able Equipment Rentals, which was acquired by United Rentals last year.

Before joining Able, Pera founded the HiReach Group, LLC., a start-up aerial lift rental company acquired by Sunbelt Rentals after two years of operation.

Pera has also held key leadership roles in the equipment industry, including president of a privately held construction equipment sales and rental company in Upstate New York and regional manager for Sunbelt Rentals.

"Chris is a key addition to our team and will help us strategically position the company as we expand our footprint throughout the Northeast and into the Mid-Atlantic region" says Mazzotta chief executive officer  Joseph Mazzotta.
