We all know that materials handling is a very competitive business, but this week, it has been revealed that the United States has the most competitive economy.
A report just released by the World Economic Forum ranked the US at the top of a list of 140 nations. This is the first time the US has reached the top spot in a decade.
It is followed by Singapore, Germany, Switzerland and Japan.
The next five places went to the Netherlands, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Sweden and Denmark.
China, ranked 28th, was the most competitive of the emerging markets, followed by Russia in 43rd place.
