SmartFork SideCam is a semi-integrated camera system at the lateral side of the fork blade for an easy and safe load pick-up. Both forks are visible on the monitor and the driver can aim along the fork during loading and unloading. This enables a safe retraction in pallets, manoeuvring damages are significantly reduced.

The robust camera installation and an intelligent cable guiding in the fork reduce the installation height by approx. 60% and the camera is protected against damages and shearing off.

Best forward view - SmartFork FrontCam

Using SmartFork FrontCam the driver obtains an image of the area in front of the forks, even with loaded cargo. The camera is integrated inside the fork tip and transmits the camera picture onto a monitor inside the driver cabin. The visibility field of the driver is considerably increased and sighting of carriers much easier. Persons and obstacles are detected earlier, thus damages are prevented.

Every SmartFork application offers benefits but only in combination they form an intelligent overall solution. With SmartFork PremiumCam, a combination of FrontCam and SideCam, the forklift driver has always the correct camera perspective in use.

The automatic switching between the cameras offers a safe transport in all situations. SideCam offers easy retraction in pallets even in great heights. Once the load is picked-up, the system switches automatically to FrontCam offering best forward view ahead of the load. Precise, efficient and simply clever.

SmartConnect - Energy and data transfer for flexible application

Optionally SmartFork can be equipped with SmartConnect, an alternative to conventional cable-guided systems. The self-sufficient energy supply by a rechargeable Bosch battery and data transfer via Bluetooth or WiFi are an optimal installation-friendly alternative to mast cable installations. Flexible for individual applications and working conditions.
