Forklift parts veteran Peter Milliken has launched a new parts business based in Brisbane.

Velox Parts is a family-owned and -operated business, supplying the trade with parts for Toyota, Nissan, TCM, UniCarriers, Mitsubishi, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hyster and Yale machines.

Milliken, who started out in the forklift parts industry in 1986, claims to have pioneered the aftermarket forklift parts business in Australia for companies such as EMC and TVH.

"Having stepped away from the industry for 18 months, it became clear that supply options for customers to competitively source aftermarket forklift parts and accessories in Australia had become limited," the company says in a statement.

The business is trading online and has a shop front in Geebung, Brisbane.
