A group of forklift drivers in the Czech Republic have used their equipment to stop a robbery at their warehouse.

According to The Mirror, the forklift drivers at the DEK, a builders' supplies store in Ostrava-Hrušov, reversed in front of a getaway car and blocked its escape.

One forklift drove into the car's path, forcing the robbers to do a U-turn and speed back in the direction they came from.

When the getaway car attempted to get away again, it was blocked by two other forklifts.

The car was eventually stopped and the robbers surrounded by warehouse staff.

The incident was captured on CCTV. Police are investigating the matter.
