Lencrow has received the latest model Bomaq, a 3000kg all-terrain forklift unit with a 600mm load centre. The unit was designed to fill a void in the market, which is to provide a compact all-terrain forklift for the building industry that will accept a rotator, while at the same time not limiting the capacity handling pallets of heavy building materials. The unit not only employs the turning circle of a conventional forklift but also has 4WD capabilities. This allows the unit to work in very limited spaces which is typical of many building sites.

Bomaq now offers the full range from 2000kgs to 7000kgs. Combined with this, Bomaq can also offer the flexibility of special lowered heights with custom requirements directly from the factory at a fraction of the cost of aftermarket modifications.

Ross Grassick Managing Director of Lencrow says; "We have worked with Antonio Martinez from Bomaq for the past four years on these units as we feel they fill a gap to improve both WHS as well as productivity on construction sites. We have been selling and hiring all terrain forklifts since 1982 and the biggest change has been the physical size of this type of unit. What the Bomaq offers that is the game changer is manoeuvrability with a turning cycle of 2500mm on the standard 3000kg unit. This not only makes it easier to operate it also improves productivity by allowing right angle stacking in basements in one turn which also allows for less product damage and improved WHS."

The units all run Linde hydrostatic drive which has been proven for the past 20 years in forklifts to be responsive as well as very reliable. The unit has been manufactured specifically for the hire industry, with most of the hydraulic lines under the floor steel tube for improved reliability, and fourth hydraulics plumbed to the carriage to allow easy fitting of attachments. Daily prestart checks are easy with all checks available from ground level under an engine bonnet with lockable fuel and engine covers.
