The Manitou brand entered the market in 2012 with the launch of 12 industrial truck models (MI). The MI range has now met its client base, with a growth of 25-30% per year since it was launched. The Manitou Group generates 22% of its turnover in industry and now offers more than 100 models dedicated to industrial applications.

At a time when warehouse working standards are becoming increasingly strict, the Manitou Group is developing its range of industrial trucks with the new ME range, powered by an electric motor and designed for light to moderate use and to meet increased user safety and environmental protection requirements. It has a compact design so it can be used in confined spaces; the stability is optimal to ensure safety of operators; the machine has been designed with efficient and energy-saving engines.

Patrick Laridan, Industrial Market and Products Manager:
"With the launch of these Manitou electric industrial forklift trucks, our network can now satisfy most of the requirements of users in terms of industrial material handling.
These new models are in line with the fundamentals of the Manitou forklift trucks ranges, which are attractive to customers primarily seeking equipment that "does the job" while ensuring operator safety and, finally, an optimized operating cost."

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
