The Falcon Spider has arrived in Japan
Japanese crane company Saiga Corporation has taken delivery of its first Falcon Spider from TCA Lift.

The new 32 m track-mounted FS320C telescopic spider with double jib on height-adjustable crawlers was handed over in Osaka last week.

Saiga Corporation, a crane rental company specialising in heavy-duty machine handling, chose the Falcon "after a period of investigation and testing various (models)", according to a company spokesman.

"We were convinced by the overall features and high quality of the Falcon FS320C," he adds. "Especially the height-adjustable crawler chassis and logical operation of the controllers convinced us."

The chassis is designed with height-adjustable crawlers which make it possible to have more ground clearance when driving in rough terrain, keeping the Falcon in vertical position over uneven ground.

The FS320C features a five-section telescopic boom, with double-articulated jib, and has a height-adjustable tracked chassis which increases ground clearance by just over 300 mm. Platform capacity is 200 kg, and maximum outreach is 15 m with a reduced 100 kg capacity.

Established in 1967, Saiga is based in Osaka and runs a fleet of over 100 cranes,
including crawlers, truck mounts and all terrains, topped by an 800 T Kobelco
crawler crane. This new Falcon is the company's first entry into the spider lift market.
