 ProLift's expanded site |
ProLift Industrial Equipment has nearly tripled the size of its Cincinnati, Ohio facility, growing from 20,000 sqft. (1,800 sqm) to 59,000 sqft. (5,480 sqm).
According to marketing manager Lorie Leitner, the expansion has allowed
ProLift to include new features such as a customer conference room, technician training room and a show room for new, used and rental forklifts.
Leitner tells
Forkliftaction.com News that ProLift has experienced 40% annual growth over the past five years and the expansion "is vital to ensure support to our current customers does not decrease - and to have the ability to support more customers".
Founded in 1978, ProLift had its beginning as a forklift rental house in Louisville, Kentucky. Over the years, it has grown into a full-service forklift and materials handling dealership, boasting eight locations, approximately 350 employees and multiple product lines.
After being a Toyota dealer and partner for decades, in January 2007, ProLift was purchased by Toyota Industries North America (TINA).
Besides Toyota forklifts, ProLift also carries Taylor forklifts, Genie aerial lifts, Combilift and Aisle-Master specialty lifts, and other materials handling equipment.
In addition to the Cincinnati operation, ProLift has facilities in Evansville and Indianapolis, Indiana; Erlanger, Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky; Dayton, Ohio; and Dailey, West Virginia.
