Manitou will be showing what it claims is the world's biggest telehandler in Sydney in September.

The new MHT-X 14350 will feature in the company's display at AIMEX 2015, the Asia Pacific mining exhibition to be staged in September.

The 35 T capacity MHT-X 14350 is described as a robust rough-terrain, all-purpose vehicle with a focus on handling capabilities, safety and operator comfort.

The model features a 7.2 l, 240 kW Mercedes-Benz engine delivering 1,300 Nm to cater for the mining and heavy industrial sectors. It has a 14 m duplex turret.

It will be one of several machines on show which were designed and manufactured at Manitou's Mining Competence Centre.

The full range includes six models from 3 T to 40 T.

AIMEX runs from 1-4 September at Sydney Olympic Park.
