Lencrow Materials Handling is now in full swing since becoming the number one dealer for Nissan by Unicarriers in Australia (excluding Western Australia). As reported back in November 2014 Lencrow took over the retail operations of Powerlift. This includes sales for forklifts, reach trucks and materials handling equipment and the after sales support including servicing and spare parts.

Since November Lencrow reported that 95% of ex Powerlift staff have come on board with Lencrow to improve and develop the dealer network. The branches in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane have integrated completely and now operate from one site in each location. All departments are equipped to provide improved services and increased parts availability.

Ross Grassick, Managing Director, says "We are very fortunate that we have integrated staff from both companies and are pleased with the contribution and commitment towards developing operations. We have now contacted most customers that we have records for and are working with them to improve upon the services they have been receiving. Improvements already implemented this year for our customers include reductions in prices for genuine spare parts and retail service costs."

Lencrow are motivated to provide solutions to their client’s materials handling requirements regardless of application. They can offer over 3000 types of products ranging from pallet jacks to container handlers. There are models on the market to suit every application from warehousing to off road uses.

Ross Grassick says "We are a 100% family owned and operated business and have been providing materials handling solutions for over 35 years. To have Nissan by Unicarriers back as part of our core fleet completes our product range. We have always used Nissan products in our fleet and can say with conviction that the units have some of the lowest running costs on the market. At Lencrow we have a policy – if we would not use it in our own fleet we will never become a supplier of that product. Our fleet has over 2000 Nissan units we hire to customers with our services in operational leases."

Nissan is a known and reputable brand. The brand has long been associated with high class materials handling equipment. Nissan is now known as "Nissan by Unicarriers". The "Nissan by Unicarriers" brand has united 3 leading manufacturers in materials handling equipment to develop and manufacture quality products with world class technology from around the world.

Why’s this good news for the industry? It’s a win, win situation for all! Lencrow has been using Nissan products for years and believe in the quality and value of the brand. Having already reduced on going maintenance costs for customers and integrating the experience and knowledge of staff from both company’s customers can expect improved personalised service from the Lencrow network.
