Material Handling Supply, a new and used forklift dealer that serves the Philadelphia area as well as New Jersey, Delaware and the eastern shores of Maryland and Virginia, is moving its main warehouse and offices to a facility that will give it nearly twice as much space as it now has.

MHS Lift, as the company is also known, will move from two sites in Brooklawn, New Jersey with a total of about 56,000 sqft. (5,202 sqm) to a 103,000 sqft. (9,569 sqm) facility in Pennsauken, New Jersey that it recently purchased.

The company, which started in 1970, has represented Nissan in the area since 1974 and Crown since 1975. Over the last four years, MHS Lift has won the Nissan Goal Buster Award, Nissan Nine Award, Nissan President's Award and the Crown Ascent Award.

Along with Nissan and Crown, MHS Lift also represents Hamech, Genie and Taylor-Dunn.

Besides what has been its headquarters in Brooklawn, the company opened another branch in New Castle, Delaware in 2005 and a second branch in Seaford, Delaware in 2011. The company that started with two workers in 1970 now has 140 employees, 47 of whom have been with the company for more than 10 years and 12 who have been with MHS Lift for more than 30 years.
