Emulate3D receives award
Reading, United KingdomEmulate3D has been named as winner of a Queen's Award for Enterprise, the UK's highest accolade for business success. The company received its award for Innovation in recognition of its work in developing the Emulate3D Controls Testing (ECT) range.
Emulate3D Controls Testing is used worldwide where there are automation systems in industries ranging from automotive manufacturing, food production, paper processing, material handling equipment and airport baggage handling.
Approximately 160 Queen's Awards have been announced this year for outstanding business achievement in the fields of International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.

PowerCell gains accreditation
Braintree, United KingdomPowerCell, a UK industrial battery and charger specialist, has reached the exacting standards required for the ISO (OHSAS) 18001 accreditation.
ISO (OHSAS) 18001 is the internationally recognised benchmark for the management of health and safety and PowerCell says the award sets it apart from its competitors as one of the leaders in its field.
"We're absolutely delighted," says managing director Derek Anderson. "[The] accreditation is a huge achievement and we're very proud to receive this international seal of approval."
NMHG donates to United Way
Greenville, NC, United StatesNACCO Materials Handling Group Inc (NMHG) has donated to the United Way of Pitt County based on the number of three-point baskets scored by the East Carolina University (ECU) basketball team during the 2013-14 season.
ECU scored 55 three-pointers during the 2013-2014 season and Conference USA tournament, bringing the NMHG United Way donation to USD28,900. NMHG is in its fourth year of working with ECU athletics to benefit the United Way and has donated over USD355,000 through the program to date.
