Good Friend International Holdings Inc has seen a decline in its forklift sales for the first 10 months of this year.

Compared to the same period last year, the group sold 15.6% fewer forklifts (1,869 units) for the 10 months ended 31 October. The group sold 2,214 units for the same period in 2012.

Forklift sales totaled RMB119.544 million (USD19.6 million) for the first 10 months this year, representing a decrease of about 14%. In 2012, forklift sales totaled approximately RMB138.552 million (USD22.7 million) for the same period.

Total group sales for the 10 months ended 31 October 2013 amounted to about RMB1,116.509 million (USD183 million), representing a 12% decline from approximately RMB1,263.198 million (USD207.4 million) for the same period in 2012.

The Hong Kong-listed company, headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, designs and produces machine tools, three-dimensional car parking garage structures and forklifts.
