Situated in the South of Italy on the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Port of Naples is one of largest seaports in Italy and in the Mediterranean Sea. With a volume of commercial movements of nearly 22 million tons in 2010, shows its economic vitality in every commercial sector. Thanks to its enormous capacity, the port is able to provide the specialised handling and storage required by all type of products.

The cooperation with Klingenberg Group began more than 25 years ago when Bo Vennstrom, Bolzoni Auramo Sales Director in those years, started discussing with Mr Erik Klingenberg, finalizing the supply of P-650 pulp clamps and tippling roll clamps.

Bolzoni Auramo has recently delivered three pulp bale clamps model BA-100, specifically designed for effective and safe heavy-duty pulp bale handling. The strong and robust frame and arm structure with capacity of 10,000 kg at 800 mm load center, together with a wide choice of arm configurations and mounting options, enable efficient handling of 1 to 4 pulp bale units of all sizes. Mounted on Hyster 12 ton forklift trucks, the clamps are used to handle the pulp bales unloaded from the ship on the docks, and transport them to the warehouses before being loaded on trucks for delivery throughout Italy.

This new supply reconfirms the good cooperation between Bolzoni Auramo and the Klingenberg group, with the common ultimate target of high quality forestry product damage-free handling.

Bolzoni Auramo offers the widest range of lift truck attachments on the market, and thanks to our continuous focus on discovering new innovative solutions and to the close co-operation with the customers, we have built up an experience in understanding their particular industrial processes and providing customized products and services.
