 Jesse Schultz - Mobicon Business Development Manager Australia |
Mobicon Mini Straddle Carriers announced it has appointed Jesse Schultz to the position of Business Development Manager - Australia.Tom Schults, Managing Director of Mobicon Mini Straddle Carriers said:
"Since the introduction of our TF2 machine which lifts two high, we have seen a significant increase in sales enquiries. This can largely be attributed to the TF2 having a unique 4 axle design that offers the lowest wheel weight on the market. Guaranteeing operators who use Mobicons machines won't be faced with the costs of having to resurface their yard due to cracking caused by other machines that have big wheels, but not enough axles and putting the same weight on their yard as a 25 Tonne Truck'.
'Appointing Jesse as our new Business Development Manager was a natural choice as he has worked for Mobicon for over 10 years, and has an in-depth understanding of both our machines and our clients. Due to his extensive experience in container handling Jesse is a natural fit to be able to find the most cost effective and efficient solution for our clients and we are looking forward to him having a bright future in his new role" Tom Schults said.
The
Mobicon 'TF2' model was introduced to the market in 2014, and stacks one over one, using an ELME spreader, and is extremely fast taking only two minutes to pick up a container and place it on a trailer. The TF2's design is unique to other straddle carriers on the market due to its 4 axle load sharing bogies, which not only provides low wheel weight but also increased stability not allowing the container to swing.
Mobicon Mini Straddle Carriers Managing Director Tom Schults said;
"Over the last two years we have seen many examples where companies who have previously bought a 3 wheel or 2 axle Mini Straddle Carrier to find out after a couple of months that their yard was not designed to stand up to the very high wheel weights. One operator even experienced cracking to their concrete within one week of their three wheel machine being commissioned."
"The increase in orders for Mobicons Mini Straddle Carrier are coming from container handling operations that don't have special heavy yard surfaces to work on, and the more professional container handling companies, that understand the importance of good design and want to avoid yard repair bills. At present the overall cost of ownership for the Mobicon is the lowest in the industry" Tom Schults said.
