Sustainability and efficiency are at the forefront of operational goals in the ever-evolving material handling industry. TYRI, a global leader in work lighting solutions, is addressing these challenges with three forward-thinking concepts: ECO PWR, INTELLilight, and BASEline. These innovations combine energy efficiency, adaptability, and cost-effectiveness, providing tailored solutions for forklifts and port material handling machines.

By reducing energy consumption while enhancing operator visibility, TYRI’s lighting concepts help businesses optimise their operations while meeting sustainability goals.

ECO PWR – Redefining Energy Efficiency for Port Handling

ECO PWR delivers exceptional lighting performance while minimizing energy use, making it ideal for port material handling equipment. Featuring advanced LED technology and circuit boards, the 1010 ECO PWR provides 6,000 lumens of precise illumination at just 52 watts.

This level of efficiency is crucial for port operations, where machines, like reach stackers and container handlers, require reliable and powerful lighting during extended shifts. By reducing energy consumption and incorporating recycled materials, ECO PWR supports both operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.

“ECO PWR represents a new standard in energy-efficient lighting. Its design minimizes energy usage while maintaining reliability, making it a powerful solution for sustainable work sites,” explains Christian Wadell, Global Head of Research and Development at TYRI.

INTELLilight – Smarter Lighting for Material Handling Machines

INTELLilight takes adaptability to the next level, offering operators complete control over their lighting. Whether integrated with a machine’s control system or managed through an app, this system allows lights to be grouped and regrouped, colour-adjusted and dimmed depending on the machine's environment and tasks.

For forklifts operating in demanding port and warehouse conditions, INTELLilight reduces energy consumption while improving safety and visibility. When full brightness isn’t required, the system can be dimmed, reducing both energy costs and environmental impact.

“INTELLilight ensures lighting is optimized for the operator’s needs and the external environment, enhancing efficiency while minimizing waste,” notes Christian Wadell.

BASEline – Affordable Sustainability for Warehouse Forklifts

In warehouse environments, where forklifts are essential, BASEline provides an energy-efficient alternative to traditional halogen lights. Designed as a cost-effective solution, this LED light combines high-lumen output with low energy consumption, making it perfect for retrofitting older forklifts with modern, sustainable lighting.

With reduced use of aluminium and plastic in its production, BASEline helps businesses transition to greener operations without breaking the budget.

“BASEline is proof that sustainable solutions don’t have to come at a premium. It’s an ideal choice for companies looking to enhance efficiency while keeping costs low,” says Christian Wadell.

A Shared Vision for the Future

TYRI’s ECO PWR, INTELLilight, and BASEline concepts address the diverse needs of material handling environments. Together, they demonstrate how lighting can contribute to sustainable operations across ports, warehouses, and beyond.

“We aim to create a comprehensive solution that combines the best features of these concepts, setting a new standard for sustainable work lighting – so watch this space!” shares PeO Axelsson, Marketing Manager at TYRI.
