It was 16 years ago today - Thursday 7 July, 2000 - that the first edition of Forkliftaction News was distributed.
It was not only the first email newsletter for the materials handling market, but one of very few email news services around at the time.
That edition had just two news stories: Crown Equipment Corporation winning two design awards and Clark Equipment Australia securing a distribution deal for Fantuzzi.
We've come a long way since then, and this week marks our 777th edition.
It is appropriate at this stage to thank all the Forkliftaction staff, past and present, for their contributions and to acknowledge the hundreds of supporters - contributors, advertisers and industry players - who have made it all possible. Thanks for your ongoing encouragement and assistance and we look forward to working with you for at least another 16 years!
