As mergers and acquisitions go, the Terex-Konecranes deal must rank as one of the most interesting in recent times. It's been a bumpy ride, shaken somewhat by a seemingly superior - and surprise - offer from China's Zoomlion, a giant which few in the industry knew much about.
While this has made for interesting reading, it must be a very tough time for both Terex and Konecranes and for staff and investors.
However, it looks like both organisations are successfully managing the uncertainty and continue to go about their business.
And we'll continue to watch the game from the sidelines ...
