This week’s news is electric!

We bring news of the electrification of ports around the world, with container terminals in the United States, Finland and Brazil adding electric materials handling equipment.

We also have reports of new models released by equipment manufacturers, including a new electric cushion tyre forklift, and funding for AI-based energy management for batteries.

In more mundane housekeeping news, both Forkliftaction and Machinery-onQ will be offline between 1am and 2am GMT on Monday July 15 as we upgrade some of our server systems.
