This week's newsletter is dominated by the MODEX event in Atlanta, where the hot topics are automation and alternative fuels.
There were a number of product releases from the major players and many of them involved fuel options like hydrogen and lithium-ion which are fast making their impact felt.
Automation and intelligent, connected technology is also permeating the materials handling arsenal, with new applications on show by several exhibitors.
It looks like fleet owners are always looking for ways of working smarter, safer and with less environmental impact - and if they can save money along the way, all the better.
