A 78-year-old man died at the scene |
The death of an elderly man involving a forklift at a Gold Coast workplace last week will not be investigated by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland inspectors.
Authorities have confirmed that a 78-year-old man, who had suffered critical injuries in a forklift accident, died at the scene.
It appears that as the incident was not work-related, WHSQ will not be investigating, according to an official.
The victim's identity has not been released, nor are there any details surrounding the incident, with some news reports indicating the address where the man died was not a registered business.
