Five brand new fun physical, mental and skill-based activities await teams taking part in this year's much-anticipated Big Logistics Diversity Challenge.

Designed to promote the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) across the logistics and warehousing sector, The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge (BLDC) promotes the importance of EDI and how inclusivity can be tackled collaboratively and collectively.

Organised by multi-media specialists Nimble Media Ltd, the event is an opportunity for organisations to share best practice, network and help shape a more inclusive sector while recognising and rewarding employees with an adventurous day of fun.

The 2025 BLDC will return to Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire, on 26 June, and will feature a total of 24 challenges including favourites such as Space Hopper Basketball, Walk the Plank and It's A Knockout.

The quintet of new challenges includes a daring duo of extreme tests of will and courage. Teams will look to unleash their inner warriors as they aim true with the exhilarating Axe Throwing challenge, where precision and focus are key. Participants will face an even greater trial as they conquer mind and body in the Firewalking activity, walking barefoot across hot coals, testing nerves and proving their unshakeable determination.

New mental and skill-based challenges introduced for 2025 include Photo ID, designed to test teams’ observation skills as they answer a series of questions based on CCTV footage, while in Pistol Draw, they’ll delve into the Wild West past and discover who has the fastest reactions. In the Challenge Master Challenge, teams will complete activities based on the popular TV series, ‘Taskmaster’.

The full list of challenges and descriptions are available on the event website: www.biglogisticsdiversity.co.uk.

Now delivering its sixth year, The BLDC has become a staple of the logistics and warehousing industry events calendar with support from across the industry returning year-on-year, including Aston University, RTITB, Road Haulage Association, British International Freight Association, Forkliftaction, IWLEX and UKWA. Joining for 2025 are AMHSA and Fleet News.

The 2025 event’s chosen charity, international development charity Transaid, will join teams on the day to run the Toxic Jigsaw challenge - a 200-foot-long inflatable through which teams must negotiate in pairs and complete a jigsaw.

"The Big Logistics Diversity Challenge continues to captivate the logistics sector as more organisations recognise the value of fostering diverse and inclusive teams," comments Vicky Binley, Nimble Media Ltd Director.

"This year's event offers a day brimming with energy and collaboration for participants, underpinned by the message that inclusivity benefits both individuals and businesses alike. "With five exciting new challenges for 2025, participants will face a series of tasks designed to enhance problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and focus, creating a truly exciting and impactful experience."
