The data shows electric forklift sales in the Netherlands increased 7.4% from 1,917 units in 2009 to 2,059 units in 2010. Electric pallet mover sales rose 9.2% from 3,371 units to 3,682 units, while electric stacker sales declined 3.3% from 1,042 units to 1,008 units. Narrow-aisle forklift or turret truck sales decreased 16.0% from 119 units in 2009 to 100 units in 2010. Side-loading forklift sales increased 97% from 29 units to 57 units. Rider reach truck sales hiked 17.5% from 640 units to 752 units. Order picker sales jumped 31.0% from 616 units in 2009 to 807 units in 2010. Internal combustion engine forklifts increased 9.6% from 1,005 units to 1,101 units. BMWT, which represents importers and manufacturers of construction, warehouse and other equipment, has tabulated annual forklift sales figures since 2000.
