Sennebogen crawler cranes to work at a major port construction site in Istanbul

Turkish logistics provider Özüaydin Crane has put six Sennebogen crawler cranes to work at a major port construction site in Istanbul, Turkey.

Founded in 1982, the company is a market leader in Turkey, specialising in port management. 

The six crawler cranes include two model 5500s and one model 3300 of the E-series.

Both machine types feature a Star-Lifter crawler undercarriage.

The self-assembly system allows the machines to be assembled onsite in just a few steps.

Powerful winches rated at 160 kN and rope speeds of up to 105 m/min ensure efficient operation.

Özüaydin Crane is keen to ensure safety, and the crawler cranes are built to operate on uneven ground. Sennebogen relies on touch-and-feel: the sensitive control guarantees the safe positioning of the load at any time, while the maXcab cabs allow operators optimal visibility of the work area.
