DP World’s new container park on Fisherman Islands at the Port of Brisbane will use OneStop’s depot operating system.

DP World broke ground on the 10.4 ha Brisbane Container Park in December 2023, saying the facility will house Australia’s first two high empty reefer pre-trip facilities as well as MT handlers capable of stacking up to eight containers.

OneStop says the container park will use its OneStop Modal depot operating system to provide fast and reliable container transactions.

The system integrates with OneStop’s vehicle booking system to provide insights into container movements, improving traffic flow management and reducing manual operations.

“This partnership heralds a new era in logistics,” says OneStop’s chief commercial officer Chris Harnett.

“It’s not just about setting new standards; it’s about fundamentally improving efficiency, sustainability and visibility in the supply chain.”

The implementation of OneStop’s VBS and OneStop Modal capabilities will take place at the DP World’s Fisherman Island Container Park on June 3.

It’s the year 2000. You’re in front of a boxy beige desktop waiting for the screeching ramblings of your dial-up to reach its finale. You go to Yahoo!, MSN, or maybe AOL, and start the mind-numbing process of finding your very specific needle in the digital haystack. And with web pages loading one image at a time, patience isn’t just a virtue – it’s a requirement!
