Combilift's Combi-FSE 8000 side loaderIrish-headquartered Combilift has unveiled two new products at the Ligna 2025 trade show for the global wood industry held in Hannover - the Combi-FSE 8000, a four-wheel, 8T, electric side loader; and the Combi Load Xtendr load extender.
The Combi-FSE 8000 has been designed for handling structural timber, packs of sawn wood, panels, or engineered wood products in confined indoor or outdoor environments.
Key features include twin 18kW drive motors, expansive operator viability and quick battery change capabilities.The side loader also comes with Combi-Connect, Combilift’s telematics system for real-time performance tracking.
The Combi Load Xtender is a new pantograph-style load extender which enables loading and unloading of trailers or rail wagons from a single side.
Martin McVicar, Combilift CEO, says the new solutions were developed specifically for the timber sector. “Customers need to move larger loads in tighter spaces with greater safety and lower emissions,” McVicar adds. “The FSE 8000 and Combi Load Xtender do just that.”
