The scene of the accidentA Coca-Cola Refreshments Distribution Center employee has been killed in a forklift accident.
Local media reports that the accident happened at the distribution centre on Southpoint Drive while the man was operating a forklift. He died on the scene.
His identity has not yet been revealed, but a company statement says: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our teammate yesterday in our Memphis facility. We are fully cooperating with authorities to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragedy.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and fellow teammates, and grief counselling and chaplaincy services are available at the facility.”
